IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter's Awards

Nominations are invited for various IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter’s Awards for the year 2023. The awards will be given based on the work or contributions made by the candidate upto 31^st December 2022. The nomination form/format can be downloaded from https://iimebbsr.org/downloads.py  The completely filled nomination as per the format should reach to the IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter latest by 10th October 2023 5.00 PM in the below given address

The award will be given to individuals having outstanding contribution in the field of mineral exploration, characterization, beneficiation, engineering, environmental protection, attmanirvar bharat, innovative applications related to mineral & its allied industries. The award will be given in following categories:

1. Young Innovator's award, Age group: below 35 Years.
   Award will be consisting of citation, memento and cash prize of 3000/-. The award will be given to individuals in following three categories:
   1. Industry
   2. Academia
   3. Research & development
2. Mineral Excellence award, Age group: below 50 Years.
   Award will be consisting of citation, memento and cash prize of 5000/-. The award will be given to individuals in following three categories:
   1. Industry
   2. Academia
   3. Research & development
3. Lifetime Felicitation, Age group: above 50 Years.
   Felicitation will be consisting of citation and a shawl. The award will be given to individuals in following three categories
   1. Industry
   2. Academia
   3. Research & development

The selection will be based on the recommendations of award selection committee duly approved by EC of IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter.

Eligibility

1. Industry: Any individual working in mineral & its allied industries (including MSME, start-up etc.) and is an Indian national
2. Academia: Any individual who is in academia and teaching/working in field of mineral & its allied areas and is an Indian national
3. Research and Development: Any individual who is in R&D and working in field of mineral & its allied areas and is an Indian national

The awards will be given annually at the annual general body meeting (AGBM) of the IIME Bhubaneswar chapter.

Selection:

The selection of the award will be from the nominations received at IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter. The selection of the awards will be done based on the recommendations from the "award selection committee" with seven (07) members constituted by the executive council (EC) of the IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter and duly approved by the EC. The award committee will be constituted of Chairman IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter (Ex-Office), two expert members each from industry, academia, and R&D. The members of award selection committee are not eligible for the awards.

Who can Nominate:

The nominations for young innovator's award, mineral excellence award and lifetime felicitation can be given by Head of the institution / organization, Head of the department, EC members of IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter, Chairman/Presidents of other IIME Chapters, President of IIME, and Previous award winners of respective category.

Note:
# A person awarded for one of the category will not be eligible for the same award in the future.
## Nomination with incomplete application as per the format will not be considered
